Kettle Valley Dried Fruit Company was incorporated in British Columbia in February 1996 and began production in January 1997.  The company manufactures 100% natural fruit products:  fruit snacks (leathers) and formed fruit bars from three facilities.  Local, process-grade apples form the base of all bars.  As of April 2003, Kettle Valley Dried Fruit Co. is a part of SunOpta, a Toronto-based company.  SunOpta is a publicly traded, diversified natural and organic foods producer and distributor that also owns related companies.

Kettle Valley brand products and private label fruit snacks/bars are distributed in the across North America and overseas in the United Kingdom.

Kettle Valley Snacks are all natural and do not contain preservatives or added sugar, artificial colors or flavors.
